Hermiston – Longtime Hermiston resident Dean Burnett Haglund died Oct. 22, 2006, at his home. He was 74.

Disposition was by cremation. His memorial service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, 700 W. Orchard Ave.

Mr. Haglund was born Sept. 24, 1932, in St. Paul, Minn., to Milton and Fae Haglund.

He was a devoted Christian.

Mr. Haglund’s hobbies included model railroading.

He is survived by daughters Karen Kellar and Lisa VanDehey, sons Dale and David Haglund, brother Wayne Haglund, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 11 nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife June, and son Dale Leo VanDehey.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
