Connie Lee Miller and Kenneth A. Miller of Stanfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan J. Miller to Nicholas Gene Marcum, both of Stanfield.

Morgan Miller is a 1996 graduate of Hermiston High School. She works as an assistant at West Park Elementary School.

Nicholas, the son of Carol Jean and Gary Lee Marcum of Echo, graduated in 1999 from Echo High School. He works at Wilcox Furniture.

The couple plan an Oct. 8 meeting at the Hermiston Community Center.
