Lyn and the late James Faulkner of Costa Mesa, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Faulkner, to Ethan Kelly Brown, both of Provo, Utah.

Megan Faulkner is a 1998 graduate of Estancia High School in Costa Mesa, Calif., and a 2002 graduate of Brigham Young University in family life and home economics. She does systems administration, Web development and public relations for Utah Congressman, Chris Cannon.

Brown, the son of Kelly and Sharon Brown of Pendleton, is a 1999 graduate of Pendleton High School. He works as a server at the Sundance Ski Resort in Utah and attends Utah Valley State College.

The couple plan a Sept. 2, 2005, wedding at the Newport Beach, Calif., Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
