HERMISTON – A graveside service for Margaret E. Manny Terry will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Mrs. Terry, 67, of Pendleton, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Patty Cant’s Adult Foster Home in Pendleton.

She was born July 9, 1937, at Spokane, to Harold and Bernice Dicken Manny. The family moved to Walla Walla in 1941 and to Hermiston in 1945. She graduated from Hermiston High School in 1956.

In September 1958, she married Fred Terry.

She lived in the St. John’s area of Portland most of her adult life, moving to Pendleton in 1993.

Before losing her eyesight she enjoyed hand work, reading and writing poetry.

She was a member of St. John’s Nazarene Church in Portland and attended the Oregon Trail Church of Christ in Pendleton.

Survivors include her son, Keith Terry of Portland; parents, Harold and Bernice Manny of Hermiston; sister, Virginia Luisi of Boston, Mass.; and brother, Bill Manny of Pendleton. She was preceded in death by an infant son and by a sister, Patricia Manny.
