Alison Mathwich, Michael Laughery

The parents of former area residents Alison Mathwich and Michael Laughery, both of Pullman, Wash., announce the couple’s engagement.

Mathwich is the daughter of John and Janet Mathwich of Milton-Freewater. She is a 1999 graduate of McLoughlin High School, and a 2003 graduate of Walla Walla Community College. She is employed by Unisex Haircutters in Pullman.

Laughery is the son of Jim and Donna Laughery of Dayton, Wash. He is a 2000 graduate of Dayton High School and will graduate from Washington State University, Pullman, in May.

The couple plan a July 2, 2005, wedding at Blue Mountain Community Fellowship in Walla Walla.
