HERMISTON – A memorial service for John Lindsey Hardiman will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, in the chapel at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.

Mr. Hardiman, 64, a 30-year resident of Hermiston, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash.

He was born Dec. 10, 1939, at Pendleton, to Carl and Eva Jane Hardiman.

He had worked on ranches and potato fields and had also been employed as a carpenter.

His hobbies included hunting and fishing and watching painting on television.

Survivors include a stepson, Roger Davidson of Whiteson; a daughter, Molly Taylor of Hermiston; a stepdaughter, Tina Davidson of Willamina; a brother, Donald Hardiman of Pendleton; sisters, Carolyn Rencken of Weston, Jane Lorenzen of Longview, Wash., and JoAnn Harris of Hermiston; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
