I am the director of the Latino Cultural Center at Purdue University and also from Grant County, Wash., and the Tri-Cities area. We hired Abelardo Molina (Hermiston graduate receives generous gift, Sept. 29, EO) to work at the center and have had a great working relationship with him.

We were touched by this story and now feel even more connected to him. We’ll do our best to watch over him at Purdue University. Thank you for noticing the hard work and obstacles that many Latino students confront.
