PENDLETON – A graveside funeral for Lillian Stubblefield will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 25, at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.

Mrs. Stubblefield, 96, a former owner of Lehman Hot Springs near Ukiah, and formerly a resident of Pendleton, died Sunday, June 20, at Clackamas Woods Assisted Living in Milwaukie. Lillian Margaret Reinhardt was born Oct. 18, 1908 at Stateline, Wash. She helped raise her two brothers and two sisters after her mother died at an early age.

In 1925, she married Fancho Stubblefield. The couple owned and operated Lehman Hot Springs for many years, selling Lehman in 1949. In 1958, they again purchased Lehman and operated it until their retirement in 1970 when they bought a home in Pendleton. Mr. Stubblefield died in 1972.

Survivors include sons, Fancho Stubblefield of Portland, Phillip Stubblefield of Ukiah, daughter, Eileen Rychlick of Sherwood, and Ruth Thompson of Prairie City; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
