Prowse – Rabb

April Joy Prowse and Philip Paul Rabb, both of Pendleton, were married Dec. 6, 2004, in a double-ring ceremony in the Bamboo Room at the Pendleton Arts Center.

The Rev. Rick Oliver performed the ceremony.

The bride’s parents are Jeannie and Richard Prowse of Pendleton. Rabb is the son of Mary and Phil Rabb of Pendleton.

Teresa Birrer of Vancouver, Wash., and Lisa Roberts of Pendleton, served as matrons of honor. Lauren Kathryn Roberts of Pendleton, served as flower girl.

Bobby Rabb of Adams, the groom’s brother, was best man. Rich Naughton of Pendleton was a groomsman.

Orchestra music was provided by “We Are the Quartet” of Pendleton.

The bride wore an ivory and champagne satin dress with a tulle skirt and pearl and sequin accents. Her elbow-length veil was edged in satin.

She carried a pave-style bouquet with shades of ivory, cream and beige roses with gardenia accents.

The bride graduated from Pendleton High School and earned an associate’s degree in interior design from Brooks College in Long Beach, Calif. She owns The Pendleton Orchid Company and works for Carter Kerns Investigations.

The bridegroom graduated from Pendleton High School and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Oregon State University at La Grande. He is the housing director for the Umatilla Reservation Housing Authority.

A reception was held at the Vert Clubroom.

Following a wedding trip to Cannon Beach, the couple resides in Pendleton.
