UMATILLA – Norma Louise Mulkey, 84, a former longtime Umatilla resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Providence Extended Care in Anchorage, Alaska.

Disposition was by cremation with burial to be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Umatilla. A memorial service will be held later.
Mrs. Mulkey was born Nov. 28, 1918, in New York City, to Julius and Ethel Watkins Weber.
On April 8, 1960, she married Lyle Mulkey. Mr. Mulkey died in 1985.
Mrs. Mulkey was a longtime resident of Umatilla and for the past five years had lived in Alaska.
She loved to play bingo and collect Avon, and had crocheted thousands of afghans and throws.
She was a longtime member of the Stanfield Moose Lodge.

Survivors include a son, John Freed of Marshall, Ind.; daughters, June Davidsaver of Heber, Ariz., and Leeann “Dolly” Remillard of Kennewick; a sister, Leonora Weber of Paradise, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
