HERMISTON – James R. and Carlita Lou Bloodsworth of Hermiston announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristi Kay Bloodsworth, to Michael Loren Adkins of Hermiston.

The bride-elect graduated in 2002 from Heppner High School. She works at Banner Bank.

Adkins is the son of Loren and Janise Adkins of Prosser, Wash. He graduated in 2001 from Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Wash. He works at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

The couple will be married Oct. 18, 2003 at Cottage Flowers Event Center in Hermiston.
