The high point relay team received embroidered Pendleton jackets and sterling silver and turquoise buckles designed by Robert Johnston of Yellow Hair Buckles. Both awards were donated by Tamastslikt Cultural Institute and were presented by Roberta Conner, director of Tamastslikt.

The Mike Currin Memorial Award Trophy Saddle, made by Rich Boyer, was presented to Jason Stewart, the high point Columbia River Circuit Cowboy at the Pendleton Round-Up.

2003 Mike Hopper Memorial Award

Brad Gleason

He won the Mike Hopper Memorial Trophy Buckle Award, presented to the high point Columbia River Circuit Steer Wrestler, by President Steve Corey, Diana Hopper, Cassidy Hopper and Queen Darla Severe. The award is donated as a memorial to Mike Hopper, a former director and president of the Pendleton Round-Up.

2003 Big Four Award

Jesse Bail

He was winner of the Big Four Award presented to the cowboy who each year compiles the highest accumulative points from the Big Four rodeos (Pendleton, Lewiston, Walla Walla, and Ellensburg).

Bail received a Mike Beers Trophy Saddle, a sterling silver and gold buckle, a pair of 50th anniversary spurs created by ZPT Silver, and a check for $3,000.

2003 Gold Card Steer Roper Award

Paul Rice Jr.

He was the winner of the Gold Card Steer Roper Award. He received a trophy buckle designed by the Pendleton Round-Up and donated by Western States Equipment.

2003 Rookie Bull Riding Award

Matt Austin

As the highest scoring PRCA bull riding rookie, he received the Oscar Grubbs Memorial Trophy – A kit of premium cowhide saddle leather with a hand-stamped floral decoration on the lid made by Severe Brothers and presented by Gay Woodell on behalf of the family of the late Oscar Grubbs, a lifetime Round-Up supporter.
