PENDLETON – A Pendleton man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of rape and a myriad of other sex crimes.

Philip Michael Gains, 18, of Lucky 7 Mobile Court, No. 1, was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail, with bail totaling $161,000.

He was arrested by Pendleton police, but no information was available this morning on the circumstances surrounding the case.

Gaines was cited for three counts of third-degree rape, one count of first-degree sex abuse, five counts of second-degree sex abuse, three counts of third-degree sodomy, three counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, five counts of giving liquor to a person under age 21 and one count of third-degree theft.
