OBITUARY: Robin Lloyd Torres

PENDLETON – Robin Lloyd Torres, 38, of Pendleton died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 at his home. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Cayuse Hall in Wildhorse Casino.

Mr. Torres was born Feb. 18, 1970, in Boise, Idaho, to Robert and Kathy (Evins) Torres. He was raised in La Grande, attending school in Cove, La Grande and North Powder. He married Gemma Colinares in North Powder in 1998. They moved to Pendleton in October, 2006.

He loved hot rods and working on cars.

Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Gemma Torres of Pendleton; son Jason Torres of Pendleton; daughter Nichole Torres of Pendleton; father Robert Torres of Caldwell, Idaho; sisters Kris Fine of Elgin and Maria Thornton of La Grande; and brothers Kevin Torres of Union and Joseph Torres of Elgin.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Robin Torres Memorial Fund in care of the Wildhorse Casino.
