Oregon State Police said the scene unfolded just before 6 p.m. Saturday when troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a shooting on eastbound Interstate 82.

Police said the initial investigation revealed Quiriconi was driving a 2017 Land Rover when it pulled alongside a 2011 Ford F-150 pickup that was occupied by two adults and two children. Quiriconi is then alleged to have shot into the cabin of the Ford pickup. No one was injured.

Police located the Land Rover traveling west on Interstate 84. Quiriconi was taken into custody without incident.
