MORROW COUNTY — An 11th case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Morrow County Thursday, according to a press release from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office. 

The county’s contact tracing investigation revealed the individual is a contact of a previously confirmed case, the release stated, and was identified as the ninth person to test positive in Boardman. 

The county is still reporting one confirmed case in Irrigon, but after previously reporting one confirmed case in Heppner, Thursday’s press release only identifies one case located in either Heppner, Ione or Lexington. 

According to the press release, six residents who have tested positive are currently isolating at home, while five residents are considered recovered. The county reports no current hospitalizations and no deaths due to COVID-19.
