Bobby Putnam and Chris Pearson topped all teams as participants reeled in fish during the recent 1-Plug Derby held at Irrigon Marina Park. Sponsored by the Irrigon Chamber of Commerce, five teams won money for the most weight of fish caught during the Aug. 18 event.

Other money winners included the second place team of Greg Jablonski, Ronald Jablonski and Dave Greeno; third place, Jim LaPosi, Jim LaPosi Junior and Norma LaPosi; fourth, Rusty Knight, John Crosby and Gary Orr; and, fifth, Aaron Weets, Brody Weets, Dana Carr and Jason Eberle. 

In all, 21 teams participated, said Marie Cornell of the Irrigon Chamber.
