Medical tests screen for heart, bone issues

Area residents can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture through Life Line Screening. The non-invasive procedures identify potential heart conditions and heart disease as well as bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk.

Thursday, Aug. 16 at Pendleton Eagles Lodge, 428 S. Main St., Pendleton.

Friday, Aug. 17 at Christian Life Center, 535 W. Morgan St., Heppner.

Saturday, Aug. 18 at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 665 E. Gladys Ave., Hermiston.

The screening packages begin at $159. All five screenings take about 60-90 minutes to complete.
